Delivered the car back to Munich and now on the way to Lignano with the bike. Started early, so not too much traffic. Still fresh, but the sky gets blue and the sun keeps it warming up. Unfortunately lots of roadworks along the way, so had to make some detours. Anyway, nice scenery crossing the Alps. Gerlos Pass with some impressive views to high mountains with their still snowy peaks. Crossing to Italy on an old military path, a small gravel road leading up to a ridge. Winding down to Italy on the other side. Due to some roadworks I had later on to take another detour. Came to a pound with crystal clear water. The small lake has no incoming or outgoing water flows, purely fed by ground water. Ride on!
