No wind day
Logbook: 2024.06.30 Korcula / Badija to Scedro / Moster
Got up early. Very quiet it is. No motor boats, no tourists. Go for a swim. Paddle over to the Badija monastery. (The Franciscans owned Badija until 1950 when the island was expropriated from them and later used as a sport and tourism centre). Deers show up. A deserted basket ball field. Very peaceful.
I was planning for a long trip towards north today, with a supporting wind forecast. But that wind didn’t pick up as expected. Motoring some hours. I got bored, looking for a place to stay. Scedro island and the Restaurant Moster comes to my mind, which is on the way.
Decision made, I booked a table and buoy for the night. A nice bay and friendly staff. The buoy was 34 Euro. The food 71 Euro. Good quality, freshly made. I didn’t have such expensive food for the whole trip.
