Otok east coast and some WW2 bunkers
Logbook Day 06 – Ist – to Rava
A wonderful morning. Crystal clear water. Time for a early morning swim. Have a coffee and enjoy the panorama.
Off we go. Sails up and further south along the Otok island east cost. There are some WW2 submarine bunkers to visit. Lots of boats on the water. It is vacation time in Europe. Beeing careful and keeping distance, as many of those charter skippers neither now the rules or have the boat under good command.
Looking for a place to anchor. Unfortunately, in this area the coast drops steep into the see, leaving no room for sandy beaches. I tried to park reverse to a rock formation, which took a lot of work (bringing out the landline with the SUP) and was a little scary.
So finally ended up at a buoy at Rava island. Beeing a little tired, I nearly messed up the mooring by confusing the forward / revers gears. A small village with a nice pub, Konoba Dellicia.
